I was at a local coffee shop last week when the lady at the table next to me started to chat with me. She seemed to hang out there all the time, and had an opinion about everything. Sometimes people like her can be annoying because they think they’ve got it all figured out. Sometimes they can also be really helpful with suggestions though. She mentioned to me that she was a clear internet customer, and that she was very happy with her service. She said that she got a mobile hotspot from Clear that lets her connect to the internet from wherever she is. I didn’t even know that service existed! I am so glad she started talking to me randomly because I would have never known. I work from home so this service could really change the way I do things. I’m a big spender but that doesn’t mean I don’t love a deal. I buy really nice clothes (like a perfect clutch!) because for me, it’s worth it to splurge on a big item if it means I get to wear it for ten years, you know? My mom never understood my shopping habits so she’s constantly sending me coupons for things I don’t need but you know, to each his own is what I always say. CIA neighbor

I think my neighbor is in the CIA. Everyone has at least one strange neighbor. I do not think you can move anywhere and not have that one neighbor whom stands out from all the rest. The one that makes you take a double look at what you saw. I guess I should be thankful he is not hanging tires on the trees or something strange like that. Nonetheless, my CIA neighbor has so many cameras around his house. I have never seen so many video cameras watching a house. It made me thinking I needed to do something. I decided to have security systems for my home install a security system too. Mine is nothing like his, but at least I do not feel judged because of my lack of security. I joke about him working for the CIA, but I honestly wonder why anyone would need so many cameras. Maybe he is in the mob or inventing a car that runs on water. I can only imagine why, but to me it is just strange. I guess everyone has a quirk.

Sticking with my gardening New Year's resolution

I made a New Year's resolution back in January that I would start and keep up a garden. Well, so far I'm sticking to that but it's been a little more difficult lately. I just have so many more social engagements and an irregular schedule during the summers so it's been tough remembering to weed the garden and weed it when appropriate. Well, I thought that it might be a good idea to look through some gardening blogs not only for inspiration but also to come up with reminders about how to keep the garden up and running appropriately.
